Open competition (90 entries), Honourable mention.

The subject of the competition was a new junior comprehensive school for 752 children aged between six and fifteen years. The site was a central location of a new residential area under construction. Flexibility and adaptability were seen as important features. The role of the new school as a center for the new community was also emphasized. Residents of all ages were supposed to be able to use the facility from morning to evening for hobbies, meetings and other public events.
