Planning ideas competition, 2nd prize

The task: Infill of the urban fabric and the creation of an innovative lakeside residential area. ”Boomerang houses” form a unique waterfront facade and shield the area from northerly winds. The architecture echoes the industrial past of the area. Innovative housing types are provided, including a mixed-use hybrid containing a railway station and parking, as well as housing and commercial facilities.
