General plan for reorganizing, rejuvenating, and improving the image of the centre of Äänekoski, a town in Central Finland, north of Jyväskylä. The aim was to create diverse building typologies and options for different alternatives by mixing housing and commercial spaces. The commission included a conceptual plan for one such new centrally located hybrid building.
