They brought together the team which included us and our Estonian collaborators, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.punktiir.com\/\">Studio Punktiir<\/a> (Landscape Design). The estimated gross area of the proposed hospital is 127,000 m<sup>2<\/sup> and it will be built in the Lasnam\u00e4e district of Tallinn City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Our proposal was based on the pavilion model of hospital planning, where different functional buildings are connected by a central spine from which all traffic diverges. The design took shape from a strong intention to integrate the landscape within the hospital complex. The proposed park in the Northwest portion of the site extends into the built-mass creating a park-like environment with healing gardens, walking paths and a multitude of landscape elements.
