The ongoing project in Kotka to build homes for people who belong to the spectrum of autism reaches a certain stage as we hand in the tendering documents.
Architectural competition exhibition “Cure and Care – Healing Spaces Then and Now” opens at Museum of Finnish Architecture. Exhibition is curated by Hennu and designed by Hennu Kjisik and Hannu Louna here at H-K. Exhibition is on open until June of 2016.
Our office completes the vision for the future development of the centre of Äänekoski, a town known for its forest industry in central Finland. The vision is made in collaboration with Ramboll Finland, as well as Ääneseudun kehitys, Äänekosken yrittäjät and the city of Äänekoski.
Team Integrated (consisting of four architectural offices: Harris-Kjisik, AW2 Architects, B&M Architects and Brunet Saunier Architecture) wins the Meilahti Trauma and Cancer centre invitational competition with the entry called SYKE!
Harris-Kjisik in collaboration with AW2 Architects and Dutch companies De Jong Gortemaker Algra and VenhoevenCS is selected to design the new hospital in Hämeenlinna (Kanta-Häme Hospital District).

Kick-off session on invitational competition for the new Trauma and Cancer Unit for Helsinki University Central Hospital. We are in a team with Aw2, Brunet & Saunier ad B&M.

Trev travels to La Push on the US West Coast with students and teachers from Aalto University to work with the Quileute tribe.
